Earlier this year, we were excited to roll out the new Amped A60 Electric Off-Road Bike! It's packed with some cool tech and built to handle the rough stuff, making it a great pick for anyone looking to add a bit of electric buzz to their off-road adventures.
Central to the A60 is its beefy JYX Brushless DC Permanent Magnet Motor. This thing kicks out 6KW of peak power and a hefty 280 N.m of torque, so whether you're climbing hills or speeding on flat trails, the A60 has the necessary muscle. Plus, it's equipped with a robust 60V 40Ah Samsung battery that lasts longer and charges up without waiting too long.
The A60 isn't just about power; it's also built tough. The frame is made from forged alloy and is ready to take on any bumps or drops. The bike sports FASTACE suspensions at both ends, with 200mm travel up front and 75mm at the back, giving you a smooth ride regardless of terrain.
The FASTACE front fork is all about keeping things light and strong, with its aluminum alloy build. It's equipped with a spring and oil pressure damping system that makes downhills a breeze, keeping the ride stable and controlled.
Inside the right tube of the front fork, we've got a hydraulic damping system to cut down on those annoying vibrations and bumps. This means a smoother ride and less jarring, no matter how wild it gets.
On the left, the front suspension features an alloy steel spring that's both light and tough, perfectly balancing weight support and durability.
We use high-grade AL-7075 aluminium for the shock absorbers, which helps prevent rust and strengthens strength. The rear suspension is pretty versatile, too, with knobs for adjusting rebound damping and spring hardness. This lets you tweak how the bike feels and responds based on your riding style and the trail's demands.
