It’s been a long, cold Winter and finally, Spring and Summer are just right around the corner!
If your kids haven’t played on their vehicles since Autumn, then you might want to think about starting to get them ready to be ridden again.
This quick handy guide will help you pull off the covers, tighten the loose bolts and charge your vehicles up, ready for off-road fun!
Firstly, you should go to the shed or wherever you keep your vehicle(s) and see what state they’re in.
Take them out and have a good look around the vehicle to see if anything has loosened up a bit over the past few months.
Does any oil need to be applied anywhere? Do any bolts need tightening? Do the tyres need pumping up?
After this, you should test the battery and see what state it’s in. You made need to charge it up to give it a quick ride to check that all the steering, power and of course the brakes are all in good working order.
There’s no reason they shouldn’t be. But after 4-6 months in the garage, it’s always good to take your time and do a full maintenance check before your son or daughter rides out on their vehicle.
You’ve charged the battery and you’re ready to give it a test ride. Just to see if the power, steering and brakes are all working as they should.
More than likely, everything will be working absolutely fine and as it should.
It’s just always a good idea to spend a little extra time making sure that your kids quad bike, pit bike, dirt bike, buggy or any product is all ready to go!
The last thing you’ll want to do is give it a good wash down!
Making the vehicle look brand new again can further excite your children, as they remember getting on it for the first time, looking brand new and sparkling clean.
Not only that, but it’s also good maintenance to keep the vehicle clean and looking its best!
And doing these regular maintenance checks and cleaning the vehicle after use (or before use if been put away for a long period of time) can help the longevity of the vehicle.
All that’s left is to plan a trip out with the family so your kids can enjoy their quad bike, pit bike, dirt bike, buggy or whichever vehicle they have!
